Close to Home: International Community Week

Last year it was just a day. This year we’re going one step bigger.

We pride ourselves on giving something back. Helping the local communities we live and work in around the world.

That’s why in March 2016, we launched our community commitment Close to HOME through our International Community Day. Hundreds of our colleagues took part. And we helped hundreds more.

Whether it was arranging a footie session for a kid’s charity in Manila, assisting a local foodbank in Nevada or refurbishing an animal shelter in Gibraltar, our colleagues worked tirelessly to volunteer for local initiatives that they had chosen to support.

For this year, one day won’t be enough. Which is why we have expanded the event for our first ever International Community Week, taking place from 20 to 26 March 2017.

Throughout the Week, colleagues around the world will be giving up their time and skills to help make a positive difference in their local communities through Close to HOME.

Follow the week's activities on Twitter at #C2HInternationalCommunityWeek.

"Every week, our colleagues from all over the world, give up their time to help local causes that they are passionate about supporting. Our International Community Week is about celebrating these efforts, and bringing together our William Hill colleagues as they support their local communities. It promises to be an incredible week, packed full of activity and I can’t wait to see all the projects in action."
